Tracker Bark

Tracker Bark is based on the LITE and LITEIoT prototypes created in the TIoCPS project.

With LITE prototype, during 2021-2022, which was based on ready 2G module we studied if there is customer request for such kind of device in our type of the customers. Also we utilized new data sharing mechanisms to provide compatibility of the device also via server to server communication to WeHunt App.
With LITEIoT prototype at the end of 2022 and 2023 we demonstrated new 4G IoT chip, nrf9160, by utilizing power saving features we studied in TIoCPS project. Data communication was researched, and we found that existing MQTT based systems did not suite best possible ways into this kind of purpose. As originally planned: based on the research, if there is not ready communication protocol, we create one. The new encrypted binary protocol created within TIoCPS project and is used in the device, the protocol is utilizing technologies which were researched and partly found by discussions with different partners in the project.
